The International Denturist Education Centre (IDEC) of George Brown College located in Toronto, Canada, is offering a Denturist Outreach Program to be delivered through distance education mode combined with an on-site internship. This program is specifically designed for three specific international groups:

A: Denturist candidates with a dental technology background who cannot attend a full-time denturist program time because of work or family commitments.

B: Denturist candidates who do not have denturist legislation in place within their jurisdiction.

C: Denturist candidates without a dental technology background but who are currently working in a commercial dental laboratory or denture clinic. Upon completion of the Denturist Outreach Program, the participant will receive an official George Brown College Denturist Diploma and transcript.

IDEC Program Recognition Established in 1992, IDEC is an international leader in denturist education. Using the full-time denturist program at George Brown College as a template, the faculty has created standards for denturists' educational requirements on an international basis.

These standards have been accepted by:
· The International Federation of Denturists
· The National Denturist Association of the United States
· Denturist Associations in Canada, United States and Great Britain.

The quality of education as offered by IDEC has been recognized by denturist licensing bodies in the states of Washington, Oregon, Maine and Montana. IDEC has conducted denturist-licensing
examinations on behalf of the Board of Dental Examiners of the state of Maine and the Montana Board of Dentistry.

The combined efforts of George Brown College's full-time denturist program and the IDEC Denturist Outreach Program have resulted in hundreds of successfully educated and skilled denturists located throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
